Albion College is proud to “serve those who have served.” We are committed to assisting you, as a veteran, in making your transition from military service to higher education. Our goal at Albion is to provide an academically challenging environment that will help you succeed in the next phase of your professional life. The broad array of support services for veterans at Albion includes individualized advising by faculty members who themselves are veterans as well as opportunities for on-campus social networking with other veterans.
Please know too that an Albion education is affordable. If you are eligible for full veterans’ benefits, the funds available to you under the Post-9/11 Veterans Education Assistance Act of 2008 (GI Bill) will allow you to attend Albion College tuition-free. If you are eligible for prorated veterans’ benefits, you will receive significant assistance toward the cost of attendance. A monthly housing allowance and a stipend for books and supplies are also provided by the program. Albion’s Admission and Financial Aid Offices will work with you individually to identify all of the aid for which you are eligible. More information on these benefits is available at: www.gibill.va.gov.
We encourage you to learn more about Albion College and its academic programs by continuing to browse our Web site. However, the best way to get to know Albion is through a campus visit. We will be happy to arrange a visit, built around your specific interests and including a campus tour and individual appointments with faculty and staff.
Please feel free to contact me by phone at 800-858-6770 or e-mail at any time if you have questions about your admission to Albion.
