As an Albion College student, you will be eligible to receive financial aid for eight semesters of full-time attendance. To maintain eligibility, you must make “satisfactory academic progress” toward your degree by meeting these minimum requirements:

• 1.62 grade point average with 5 units completed by the end of the first academic year
• 1.81 grade point average with 13 units completed by the end of the second year
• 2.00 grade point average with 20.5 units completed by the end of the third year

A student who has insufficient units to qualify for aid may become eligible only when enough units have been completed to make up the shortage (this includes incomplete courses). If you fail to obtain a minimum 2.0 grade point average for three consecutive semesters, you will not be eligible for aid.

Renewal of academic scholarships is based on attaining the required grade point average and maintaining full-time enrollment. For more detailed information, consult the Academic Catalog.
