Pell Grants Amount: $976-$5,350. Renewable.
- Students must complete a FAFSA.
- Available to students demonstrating a family contribution of $4,617 or less.
- The amount of a Pell Grant will be prorated based on the number of units you are enrolled in for the semester. This will be based on the official enrollment status based on the last day of the drop/add period.
- One-half of your Pell Grant will be credited to your account each semester.
Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG) Amount: $750 for the first year and $1,300 for the second.
- Students must complete a FAFSA and be a recipient of a Federal Pell Grant.
- The grant is provided to students who have completed a rigorous high school curriculum, maintain a 3.0 grade point average at Albion, and are in their first or second year.
- One-half of your ACG will be credited to your account each semester.
National Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent (SMART) Grant Amount: Up to $4,000. Renewable.
- Students must complete a FAFSA and be a recipient of a Federal Pell Grant.
- The grant is provided to students in their third or fourth year of undergraduate study pursuing a degree in math, science, technology, or certain foreign languages, and they must be enrolled in at least one course per semester for that major.
- Eligible majors are determined by the U.S. Department of Education as those fields of study that are critical to national security.
- One-half of your SMART Grant will be credited to your account each semester.
Federal Supplemental Opportunity Grants Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (SEOG) Amount: $1,000. Renewable.
- Students must complete a FAFSA and demonstrate financial need.
- Priority given to Pell Grant recipients.
- One-half of your award will be credited to your student account each semester.
