Environmental Institute Scholarships

• The Institute for the Study of the Environment offers programs of study in environmental sciences and environmental studies to students interested in graduate study or careers in environmental consulting firms, analytical labs, government agencies, science journalism, or advocacy groups. Bernard T. Lomas Scholarship
Amount: Approximately 50% of tuition. Renewable.

• Available to a student intending to major in communication studies. Based on the applicant's academic record and speech-related activities.

Fine Arts Scholarships
Amount: Up to $1,000. Renewable.

• Based on demonstrated talent and without regard to academic major, to students planning to participate in art, music, or theatre. In addition, up to two first-year students majoring in music may be selected for the $3,000 Westbrook Scholarship.

Methodist Student Aid Programs
United Methodist Clergy Award
Amount: $1,500. Renewable.

• Available to children of ordained United Methodist clergy who are on an active assignment with a United Methodist Conference.
• Automatic consideration for the award based on information provided on the admission application.

United Methodist Student Scholarship
Amount: Up to $1,000. Renewable.

• Awarded to students who are active members of their local United Methodist Church.

John Wesley Matching Scholarship

Amount: Up to $3,000 (including local church scholarship, UM Foundation match, and College match). Renewable.
