Senior Class Gift
In the Senior Class Gift Program, seniors can make a donation back to the College as they approach graduation. A committee of several senior student leaders works on selecting a senior class gift project that has special significance for the class; these committee members also drive the fund-raising efforts for the gift, which depends mostly on peer-to-peer solicitation.
The Class of 2009 opted to donate a four-foot globe that will be suspended in the library. The seniors hope that the globe will be used for academic purposes as well as being a visual showpiece in the library.
Seniors may also donate to official campus organizations, academic departments, and intercollegiate sports teams.
One of the goals of the senior class gift program is to educate students to be good donors when they become alumni. Under the terms of the senior class gift program, students are able to donate part or all of their general deposit or directly make a gift via cash, check, or credit card. The donations are counted during the fiscal year in which they are received. Then, beginning the year after they graduate, the seniors join the pool of all alumni for annual solicitations via mail, e-mail, and phone.
If you would like to make a donation to the senior class gift, please print off a
senior gift form and return the form to one of these locations:
- the KC front desk (purple and gold box, labeled SENIORS),
- the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations at the Alumni Office front desk on the 3rd floor of Ferguson, or
- send via campus mail to KC Box 4688.
