The MOODLE Course Webs server is at courses.albion.edu and is managed by Instructional Technology.

Course webs are available on request right from the website.

Instructional Technology staff offer for one-on-one and group MOODLE Training sessions.

Blogs

Student, Staff, and Faculty blogs are hosted on campus.albion.edu.  Blogs are used for a a variety of purposes such as providing additional academic department information, student academic reflections, and college-sponsored travel, just to name a few.

Albion College users with a valid @albion.edu email address can sign up for a blog right on the website.

Discussion Board

For non-course related discussion boards, discuss.albion.edu is powered by the MOODLE course managment system for ease of use, but is not tied to Course Web services. Sites on this server are set up on request only.

Online Surveys

The college provides SNAP, a commerical software package for creating and publishing surveys online. Assistance is available for survey creation, publishing and data collection.

Online Image Database

Used primarily by the Art and Art History departments, and available for use by all academic departments, the Madison Digitial Image Database, mdid.albion.edu, is used for the collection and study of digital images for academic purposes.

Note, this database does not contain images of Albion College. If you need college photos or logos, please contact the Communications office.

Courses

Administrative Information and Reports

A variety of reports and services are available to staff and faculty at admin.albion.edu, a secure server that requires users to provide their Albion College network and Banner credentials. This server is managed by the Information Services department in I.T.
