2009 Operation Bentley Participants

Wow what a year! From the debate to the fun, everyone kept busy and lots of friendships were formed. Kudos to all the efforts each of you put into the program. We've had a lot of people inquire about a reunion... and we hope to be able to put one together at Albion College. As soon as we have any idea of what might happen, we'll let everyone know.

The 2009 Photo Gallery is posted (on the Photos page). A lot of pictures are included - not all the best quality - but we thought you'd like to see them all. Thanks to Lia for contributing some of her collection. Send me your photos and I'll include them in the gallery for everyone. If you want to have your own copy to print or keep, just right click the photo and "Save image as..."

If we can assist anyone as you start college searches, let us know.

2008 Operation Bentley Participants

The reunion has come and gone... and those attending had a good time.

We had a small group of participants attending the reunion but all seemed to enjoy catching up with what has happened in their lives and where they are going next year. Several people were here for the Monday events - lunch at La Casa Mexicana; cards, music, pool, and talk in the Kellogg Center; dinner and an interesting perspective on applying to and working at the State Department from Tim Sears, Deputy Director at the US Department of State.

A few people were able to stay overnight with students at Albion College. They hung out with other students, watched movies, snacked at the Kellogg Center, and got little sleep. Tuesday they attended classes and got a feel for college level discussion based seminars.

We are currently receiving applications for the 2009 program and are accepting students once applications are complete. This promises to be another great year with participants from around the state.
