As your child plans to attend Operation Bentley, you may have some questions. We hope this page will provide information you, as parents, may want to know. The week your child is at Albion, check for the daily update of what is happening including photos!

Rules for Participants
As a part of the application process, your child has agreed to follow these rules. It is important that you are aware of the rules as well. You will be notified if your child is not following the rules. Continued violations will result in him/her having to leave the program early.

What to Bring / Not Bring
Not all teenagers worry about the details until the last minute. This is a list of what he/she has in the room, what to bring and wear, and what is not allowed. Contact us if you have any questions as you assist him/her in preparing to attend.

What will the week be like?
This is a general schedule to give you an idea of what your child will be doing during the week at Operation Bentley. Each day is a little different, but all days are busy from early morning until bedtime. Expect your child to be tired by the end of the week.

Contacting your Child
Contact with your child during Operation Bentley can be difficult. We keep participants very busy during the day so it is unlikely they will "catch" a phone call to their room. Since cell phones must be turned off during academic activities, contact is limited to free time. In addition, service to this area is sketchy and phones generally do not have service in the buildings. If you need to contact your child, please call the Operation Bentley offices and we will connect you.

We will make every effort to respond to phone calls at the Operation Bentley office during the day. If you have a need to contact us outside of the normal daytime or in an emergency, please refer to the list of staff contact numbers. This list will be posted prior to the start of the program each year.
