Exciting volleyball season ends in MIAA semifinal

One of the finest seasons in the history of the Albion College volleyball program came to an end Friday night as the Britons were bounced from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament with a three-set loss (25-10, 25-17, 25-5) to Hope College in semifinal action. Albion closed the season with 17 victories. Morgan Watler, Albion's all-time leader with 1,308 kills, collected five kills, eight digs and a service ace in her final collegiate match.

Lee gains Academic all-District distinction

Albion College senior defensive back Jacob Lee has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic all-District IV College Division football first team in voting by the College Sports Information Directors of America. With his selection to the Academic all-District first team, Lee’s name will be placed on the ballot for ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America consideration.
