
Rotary Tip-Off Tournament starts tonightAlthough it officially opened the season with a 57-55 victory over the College of Wooster last Sunday, Albion College ushers in the men’s basketball season Friday and Saturday when it participates in the Rotary Club of Albion’s Tip-Off Tournament inside Kresge Gymnasium. The action begins tonight at 6 as Bluffton University squares off against DePauw University. The Britons will take the floor against Edgewood College of Madison, Wis., in the second game of the night. The losing teams on Friday will meet in the consolation game which tips at 2 p.m. Saturday. 'Briton Huddle' reviews exciting football seasonAlbion College defeated Kalamazoo College and Alma College in the final two weeks of the season to surge into a tie for second place in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association football standings. The Britons were rewarded for their fine season by placing 11 athletes on the all-league team.
