Britons to face Marian, Webster in softball today

The Albion College softball team, fresh from a day off to enjoy the Florida weather, returns to the diamond in Kissimmee, Fla., today for games against Marian University of Indianapolis, Ind., and Webster University. Bobby Lee, Albion's director of news & sports information, will travel to the Osceola County Sports Complex to provide the internet audio broadcast of both games. Albion wins for third time on Florida trip

The Albion College women's tennis team won for the third time on its spring break trip to Orlando, Fla., defeating Mount Saint Mary College, 8-1, on Tuesday. The Britons won five of the six singles contests, with Shelley Zamler, Anna Gundersen, Sarah Towler, and Morgan Watler defeating their opponents in straight sets. Katherine Batten was a winner in three sets.

Albion picks up first win of season in men's tennis

The Albion College men's tennis team scored its first victory of the season Tuesday, shutting out Colby-Sawyer College. Ben Miller won his singles match in three sets, and Danny Frank, Brent Parshall, Johnny Vinson, Tucker Blake, and Billy Sessions all won in straight sets.
