Baseball Brits make northern debut with Friday twinbill

Albion College will make its northern debut Friday as it squares off against Madonna University for a pair of seven-inning games. The first pitch is set for 2:30 p.m. at Frank Joranko Field. Log on to http://media.albion.edu/sports for the internet audio broadcast.

Baseball adds Friday twinbill to the schedule

The Albion College baseball team has added a doubleheader with Madonna University to its schedule. The seven-inning games are scheduled to be played Friday, March 19, at Albion's Frank Joranko Field with a tentative start time of 2:30 p.m.

Albion rides five-run ninth to victory over FDU

Albion College plated five runs with two out in the ninth inning to rally for a 7-4 victory over Fairleigh Dickinson University in its final spring break baseball game. Abe Belanger and Cameron Mueller produced two-run hits in the ninth as the Britons erased a 4-2 deficit. Mike Schypinski pitched four innings to pocket the first victory of his collegiate career.
