Mark McLaughlin (pictured at left) and Zach Benedict (pictured at right) posted rounds of 73 and Mason Husby added a 75 to lead Albion College to victory in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree played at The Medalist on Thursday. The Britons' 300 total was nine strokes better than Hope's second place score. It is believed to be the first team win for Albion in a MIAA Jamboree since 1996. McLaughlin, who has shot 73 or better in three of the last four jamborees, has a chance to earn all-MIAA status for the third consecutive year. He boasts the seventh-best average (75.6) in the MIAA and is six-tenths of a stroke behind the player in fifth place.
