Albion College gained an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championships by winning the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament last week. The Britons, who will be making their fourth trip to the NCAA Championships, will meet Augustana College, the champion of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, in a first round contest Saturday at 5 p.m. (Central time) in Rock Island, Ill. The winner of the Albion-Augustana contest will square off against the survivor of the match University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and the University of St. Thomas of Saint Paul, Minn.
