Albion College head softball coach Christina Finch invites middle school and high school athletes to hone their skills for the upcoming season by participating in the Britons' camp on Sunday, Feb. 14 at the Dow Recreation & Wellness Center. The middle school camp will run from 8-10:30 a.m., followed by the session for high school athletes from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Each session is designed to provide players with specialized individual instruction from the Albion coaching staff and members of the Briton softball team.
The cost of the camp is $35 for those who pre-register. Registrations will also be accepted the day of the camp, but the cost is $45.

Albion College softball letterwinners Jenna Dumbleton, Erin Giannotta, Tate Kern, Martina Ricards, and Allison Rowlett have gained recognition on the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's Academic Honor Roll for achieving at least a 3.5 grade point average for the 2008-2009 academic year.
To be listed on the Academic Honor Roll, the scholar-athlete must have earned a varsity letter in a sport and maintained a 3.5 grade point average or better for the entire school year.
