
Seniors take the lead in volleyball win

ALBION, Mich. – Albion College hopes it is peaking heading into the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association volleyball tournament as it won its third three-set match in a row Saturday, knocking off Kalamazoo College by scores of 25-22, 25-17, 25-10 inside Kresge Gymnasium. Albion (16-10 overall, 9-7 MIAA) will host Trine University for a MIAA Tournament first round match Tuesday night.
Albion hit the ball well, finishing with a .315 hitting percentage (42 kills and 13 errors in 92 attacks). Morgan Watler (Novi/Farmington) drove 12 kills to the floor and she collected 15 digs, four blocks (a solo and three assists) and a service aces. Emilee Goralski (Rochester/Stoney Creek) added 10 kills and a solo block.
