FYE Residential Program Learning Strategies

Running in tandem with the First-Year Seminars is the FYE Residential Program Learning Strategies.  The Learning Strategies sessions are geared to helping first-year students succeed at Albion.  They introduce students to campus support services, skills such as time management and decision making, assist with academic and personal goal setting, and help students learn what is expected of them as a student.  Throughout the first semester on campus, students will meet with their First-Year Seminar classmates to participate in Learning Strategies activities facilitated by Student Affairs staff and Resident Assistants in first-year residence halls.  The Resident Assistant will also have individual guided discussions with first-year students to assist in their transition to college.  First-Year students will meet for both academic and social events during the first-year at Albion.
